Little like a dining hall. It’s a small space but the food is worth it. This place does get quite busy just as a heads up. Brave the wait and you won’t be disappointed. The soup, and noodles were amazing. So much flavour and a lot of it to eat.
Been going since the early 2000s and still as good. Very friendly staff and wide menu selection. Prices have been going up slowly but I find it still pretty good value. They only take cash though so make sure you have some on you.
Also watch out for pickpockets. Keep a good eye on your belongings.
The worst place I've ever been. Food is ok, but nothing special at all. I would not say this is a clean place. I would not call this place a restaurant at all. The worst service I've ever seen:
1. I've ordered the soup- waiter was insisting me to order something extra, which I didn't want.
2. I have asked for a soup ladle in order to fill up a small plates from a big one- waiter has replied - they don't have one. I think they assume that a few people can eat from a big bowl at the same time like animals.
3. I wanted to pay my bill with a credit card- I was refused- they have told me that only cash is accepted- It's very funny I didn't see any sign which limits the ways of payment.
4. I didn't feel at all to pay any tips- the waiter was very rude and was insisting a lot to be paid with a tips, finally telling "don't come here next time"- is it a law to pay a tips for the ugly service or to be terrified by waiter?
The food is average, This is not a restaurant at any way,
They have a terrifying and terrible service from any sight of view.
I would recommend to avoid this place.
Such a rude waiter I had! Not only he made me wait for almost 30 minutes for my soup, but when I asked him about why it took so long he just gave me a stare of scorn. I don't even know why I even left a tip for this horrible service. But one thing for sure, I will never come back to this restaurant again and will tell all my friends and family to stay away from it.
I wish I know the name of that waiter, but if you happen to come across a man in his twenties who stare at customers like beggars in the restaurant, you know that's him! There are so many other Pho restaurants in Montreal, avoid this one like plague!
